We provide a guarantee of three years for IDEA pro bike parts carbon products. The warranty covers the design, manufacturing and material defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by excessive usage or cause by the usage of the owner while incorrect use, maintenance and service. The legitimacy guarantees decided by the manufacturer, not the dealer.
IDEA company reserves the right to all final decisions about the warranty and non-warranty repairs. Any defects on the products IDEA are removable, any part can be replaced with a new one, and only a professional engineer determines how the resulting defect is corrected. Replaced parts become the property of IDEA. If the claimed model has not been manufactured anymore, the manufacturer will replace it with the current model. A customer service is ensured only by authorized service IDEA.
In case of complaint, contact the seller. Pass the product in person, or send it complete, clean and enclosed with warranty, which is available from your dealer.
The compensation in recognition of the complaints claim
If the complaint is accepted as legitimate, we change the damaged product with the new one. All mechanical work that is necessary to carry out exchanges are free. All warranty and post warranty repairs are carried out exclusively by our authorized service IDEA.
We deal with the complaints by exchanging the damaged one with new components.
The warranty is void if the damage arises from the following reasons
- The damage has been caused not by the manufacturer's mistake, but the user.
- The damage occurred because of the use of bikes for disciplines and activities, which were not designed and intended by the manufacturer.
- Damage was caused by impact, stone or other object.
- If a customer replaces the original component for non-original, or carry on any modification of the product, even if the warranty applies for another failure.
- The serial number of the product is removed or damaged.
- Warranty is applied with a delay after a customer discovered the defect and then continued to use the product.
- The damage of the product was the result of mounting and the use of defective or inadequate parts.
- The damage of the product was caused by breaching the manufacturer's instructions, non-implementation of appropriate maintenance, or normal wear and tear.
In any case, it is necessary to say that we deal with complaints as people. We all are cyclists and we want to ride, so we deal with complaints more that willingly.
Technical recommendations to carbon rims IDEA
- The maximum recommended tension of the rays on the rim is 1300 nm.
- At non-thinned DT Swiss tension can be up to 1250 nm. For thinned Model 1100 nm.
- The load-carrying capacity of the carbon rims is 120 kg - 130 kg depending on the type of carbon rim IDEA.

- Use only cork brake designed for carbon rims. We recommend original IDEA brake blocks.
